Just walking, what do you want me to put here???

Di walked through the alleys, half lost in the maze, half aware that she could get home any time she liked-if she were to really try. The air stank of human poverty here, and she delighted in the suffering she saw along almost every wall, down almost every turn.

Until she came to one alley where there was nothing; no trash, no beggars, nothing but the still, cold air that seemed to stand utterly still in this place.

Something here was not right.

There was a short high pitched screech, a snarl in an alley then slience.

A large shape hunched over a woman's bloodied corspe

She ran into the alley and stopped to look at the thing.

"What the fuck are you?" she said, eyeing it up and down.

Shining violet scales protruded random patches on his cheeks, the creature had long horns, a large tail and large wings. The face resembled a young man yet with golden eyes and fangs.

"You're kind of ugly," she said, raising an eyebrow.

"and you are pretty enough to eat"

Dark said sourly

"I'm like this if Ryu doesn't drink enough blood"

"Well, you'll be disappointed to know that I'm not offering up any of mine," she said coldly, "and that I don't know who Ryu is. Or who you are."

"Dark's the name..... I'm a dragon demon, and you?"

As he spoke the dragon features began to dissapear

"Di," she said, and that was all; either he'd be able to smell it, or he wouldn't need to know her species.

"You got anything else to say? Like why you have to make so much damn noise? One of these days they're going to go hunting for you and it's gonna cause the rest of us a bunch of trouble too. And quite frankly, I don't need any trouble."

He grinned

"no one's gonna catch me. They'll catch me only if i want them to"

"Well don't go around causing problems for the rest of us. Last thing we need is tighter security."

Chilling had observed what was going on, from inside the dumpster. He was in there looking for his watch that he suspected he had put in the garbage by accident, when he noticed the strange creature in the alley, and he didnt want any trouble.

He laughed

"tighter security? that'll be fun"

He strolled over to a dumpster after he sniffed the air. Fling open the lid he grinned widely, his pearly white fangs shining.

"well well what do we have here?"

Di recognized him at once and growled.

"Don't you dare lay a hand on him."

He looked surprised at first then the side of his mouth edged up in a smirk. He put a hand on Chilling's head

"too late I did"

"Let. Go."

Dark ignored her threats and protesting snarls. Instead he moved his hand to stroke Chilling's hair as he would a pet, gently.

"I think I'll keep him *smirk* It's hard to find Strays these days..."

"You know," she said quietly, "I've always wondered what dragon tasted like."

"Ya know they aren't at all that bad tasting...."

His fingers began to dance through chilling's hair.

Connan walked into the alleyway, and seeing what lay before him, drew a gun, slowly and deliberately.

"Well, I leave you guys alone for a few hours and look at the mess you make. Who's your 'friend', Chilling?" The word was said with mistrust - Connan would shoot the guy if it came to it, but wasn't going to provoke him into harming his ally.

"Get out of here," she said, narrowing her eyes, "this one's mine."

Dark smirked and laughed.

"people these days are afraid to get messy. Using guns & lasers, Back in my days they used Swords."
