Connan looked Chilling over, hesitant... then accepted the gesture and shook his hand, a genuine smile on his face.

"It's been too long. This will sound insincere, but what have I missed?"

"of course you're welcomed here.. it's a hospital no? but what are you doing in a hospital?"

Ryuuou chuckled

Chilling laughed "i was going to ask you the same thing. I only just got back my self."

"I was here to pick up supplies - what I meant, Ryuu, is to ask whether I am welcome in your collective company still."

Looking over the group, Connan assessed they were all well enough; that was more of a relief than he had expected.

"What's been missed doesn't matter yet - I reckon there's still a hell of a lot to be done though."
