Connan.....

(If you don't know him by now, you're so far out of the loop you're on a different planet.)

Name: Connan
Age: Seventeen
Race: Human
Appearance: 6 foot 1, lean muscled and a slight build. Medium length blonde hair caps brown eyes above high cheekbones, enveloped by ivory pale skin. He boasts numerous scars across his arms and back. He is usually dressed in black combat boots, leather pants, and a chain around his neck.

History:

The only child of a pair of English police officers, Connan was born and raised in London. Family...disagreements meant that he was part of a street gang at 7, and leaving home at 8 made him a genuine London street rat, and eventually, a member of a gang called Black Blood. Arrested shortly before his 13th birthday, he spent eight months in a Juvenile Delinquency Center. He escaped the place in a car accident which took place while he was being transported to a mandatory psychiatrist appointment, out of the facility.

Returning to the streets, he claimed leadership of Black Blood, and ruled the gang for several years. However, shortly before his seventeenth birthday, something annihilated the majority of his gang, but not killing him, as he was not at the den that night. Following that event, Connan buried his brothers and sisters, gang mates whom he regarded as family.
All of them, alone.

Never forgiving himself for their deaths, and not sure of what killed them, he hunts for whatever did, revenge being the only thing keeping him going. His personality could, in this sense, be regarded as borderline manic depressive; although he hides it, he probably hates himself on some level. However, he still has a biting satiric sense of humor, and will often behave whimsically, acting 'just 'cos'.

Ridiculously loyal, if someone earns his loyalty they become, in his eyes 'one of his', and come hell or high water, he'll stand by them. That said, very, very few people will get away with using him, especially if he doesn't have that manic devotion to them.

Connan is somewhat complex, mentally. His faith clashes with his will to murder, his loyalty clashes with his fierce love of autonomy. He is capable of showing great cruelty and blood lust, or alternatively, great mercy and compassion. Externally, there seems to be little to judge how he makes these decisions, to the point where one might wonder if he makes them at random. He firmly believes that revenge is not worth fighting for, but lives paradoxically in that his only will to live comes from a desire to avenge those taken from him.

Connan is more of a fighter than a planner, ready to kick the door down and enter guns blazing, but when he does turn his intellect to planning, it almost always comes off to plan. This does make one question why he does not plan as much as he could, but again, something that he doesn't make obvious.

Usually found in a rundown apartment, or gunning around on a bike, he's always armed, ever dangerous, and his idiosyncrasies come together to make a whole, albeit a flawed, one.
